According to the Coinbase announcement, CHZ, KEEP, SHIB will be integrated on Coinbase.com and via their consumer mobile apps at a later date.

The professional trading arm of the American cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Global Inc (NASDAQ: COIN), known as Coinbase Pro, is set to list Chiliz (CHZ), Keep Network (KEEP), and Shiba Inu (SHIB). According to the official announcement, effective yesterday, June 15th, the deposit for each of the three digital tokens was enabled on the trading platform for an eventual listing on June 17.

After the news, the prices of coins have started their way higher. They gained 25.8%, 15% and 26.3% in 24 hours respectively.

Due to regulatory concerns, American cryptocurrency enthusiasts have a very limited option to purchase a diverse range of digital currencies. Based on this, Coinbase noted in the announcement that it gets asked a lot by its users to add support for more tokens, and the listing of these three new tokens is in response to demand. While the trio of CHZ, KEEP, and SHIB will be available to Coinbase’s US customers, other regions except Singapore can also trade the coins. Additionally, CHZ and SHIB will not be available to New York residents.

Coinbase noted it will be launching the three tokens provided liquidity conditions are met on or after 9 am Pacific Time (PT) Thursday, June 17. When all conditions are met, trading pairs including CHZ-USD, CHZ-EUR, CHZ-GBP, CHZ-USDT, KEEP-USD, SHIB-USD, and SHIB-USDT will be made available. The launch will take place in three phases including post-only, limit-only, and full trading. The progression from one phase to another is dependent on several factors top of which is a healthy and orderly market.

Uniqueness of the New Coinbase Pro Listings: Chiliz, KEEP and SHIB

Chiliz (CHZ) is an Ethereum-based token that powers the sports token engagement platform Socios.com and its ecosystem. The Chiliz blockchain helps in creating fan tokens for top sports clubs some of which include Juventus FC, AS Roma, FC Barcelona, and many more. The Chiliz-backed fan tokens make users eligible for rewards and promotions and can also be used to influence team decisions by popular voting on the Chiliz blockchain.

The Keep Network (KEEP) is a platform that aims to bridge public blockchains and private data. Powered by the KEEP tokens, the protocol’s products include an Ethereum token that represents 1 Bitcoin, called tBTC. This token can be used in all Ethereum-based outfits without any form of inhibition.

Shiba Inu and its meme coin ‘SHIB’ is one of the fastest-growing dog-themed coins that seeks to serve as the Ethereum equivalent of Dogecoin. Against the popular digital currencies with a limited supply, Shiba Inu has a one quadrillion circulating supply, and its proposed use cases include its usage in the yet-to-be-launched Shibaswap.

According to the Coinbase announcement, the three tokens will be integrated on Coinbase.com and via their consumer mobile apps at a later date.
