With Web 3.0 node engine service, Huawei Cloud can revolutionize the decentralized application (DApp) industry.

Huawei Cloud, a cloud infrastructure and service provider developed by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., has introduced its Web 3.0 node engine service (NES) for public testing. The service aims to simplify blockchain network management, resource management, and authentication, while also providing developers with the ability to connect to mainstream blockchains.

Currently, the service supports Ethereum (ETH) and Tron (TRX), it hosts Ethereum full nodes, including execution and beacon nodes.

According to the Huawei Cloud team, the Web 3.0 node engine service is easy to use. Its website claims NES is time- and cost-effective, highly reliable, and quick to react. Each node starts within seconds and responds to traffic fluctuations within less than 100 ms. Besides, NES delivers 99.99% service reliability and 100% data consistency.

The service is also secure. Validators are protected against risks as there are no single points of failure (SPOF). Nodes are combined into clusters, which allows validators to receive the maximum rewards possible.

With Web 3.0 node engine service, Huawei Cloud can revolutionize the decentralized application (DApp) industry. It is a significant step towards achieving an efficient, trustworthy, timely network connection.

Huawei Cloud Web3 Agenda

Earlier, Huawei Cloud revealed its long-term plans and ambitions to encompass the Web3 ecosystem and foster the development of cloud-based solutions built on Web3 blockchain technology. In February, Huawei Claud launched the Metaverse and Web3 Alliance to further the adoption of decentralized technology in East Asia. The cloud arm of Huawei partnered with several blockchain players to bring this initiative to fruition. These partners included BlockChain Solutions, Deepbrain Chain, Morpheus Labs, and Polygon. As Huawei explained, the alliance aimed to create a comprehensive ecosystem in the two related fields, with partners joining forces to provide users with diverse and professional infrastructure and solutions.

Next, in March, Huawei Cloud secured a partnership with Internet Bridge – a company that specializes in developing Web 3.0 applications. The parties agreed to jointly explore the Web3 ecosystem and reveal the potential of developing cloud-based solutions built on Web3 blockchain technology. The partnership focuses on Web3 services in Malaysia.

Recently, Huawei signed another deal to leverage Web3 technologies. It partnered with the global vacation club platform Staynex to employ the power of Web3 technologies in travel and hospitality.

Within the deal, Staynex will provide travelers with a wider range of hotels and itinerary options to match their preferences, lifestyles, and budgets.

Staynex CEO Bernard Lau said:

“We anticipate that our partnership with Huawei will facilitate the creation of more solutions for the travel and hospitality industry. We are keen to explore the numerous opportunities and aim to empower global travelers.”

For Huawei, this is the first time entering the traveling industry.
