Gemini, which currently stands as one of the largest and most reputable exchanges in the United States, has announced support for a new set of DeFi tokens including Injective (INJ), Polygon (Matic), and SushiSwap (Sushi). Gemini is the first exchange to enable USD fiat rails for INJ. All users will now be able to trade INJ with USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, HKD, with trading support for SGD to come. With these new listening tokens, Gemini has become the first regulated platform in the United Stated to offer trading and custody support for INJ.
Injective Protocol is the first layer-2 decentralized exchange protocol that provides unlimited access to decentralized finance (DeFi) markets. Backed by top investors, including billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban, Pantera Capital, BlockTower, Hashed Ventures, CMS Holdings, and QCP Capital, participated in the recent round, Injective has become a unicorn project with a $1 billion+ valuation. The listing on Gemini helps to vastly increase both the exposure and accessibility of the INJ token which serves as the primary gateway into Injective.
Gemini was founded in 2014 by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss who are often seen as thought leaders within the crypto sector. Gemini operates as a New York Trust company and is regulated by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS). Currently, it operates in dozens of countries across six continents, including the US, UK, Australia, and Hong Kong.
Moving forward Injective will collaborate closely with the Gemini team in order to further increase the presence of Injective’s offerings. Gemini will also support Injective in spreading awareness of the upcoming product launches and aid in educating users about Injective through Cryptopedia (Gemini’s native education platform).
