Blockchain trading platform trade.io has revealed the details of the upcoming launch of its crypto-exchange offering rewards for early registrants.

An innovative new blockchain trading platform trade.io has announced the launch of its cryptocurrency exchange. The news became official due to Jim Preissler, the company’s CEO, during his keynote speech at a sponsored Bloomberg event in London.

As Jim Preissler commented on the launch:

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of our trade.io Exchange. The community has been eagerly waiting, so it gives me great pleasure to announce that we will finally launch on 17th July. It will be a staggered launch to 1,000 people initially, with future clients to be on-boarded in the days to follow.”

The launch of the trade.io’s flagship project will be celebrated by rewarding all registrants with an opportunity of commission-free trading during the first month since the exchange starts working. Pre-registration has already opened for those who want to begin trading immediately. The platform officially goes live on July 17th, 2018.

The launch will be staggered, meaning the exchange will first open to the first 1000 registrants, before becoming available to the larger public. The selected 1000 will be contacted via email a few days before the launch.

To attract more attention to the launch and to reach more audience, trade.io took advantage of a guerilla marketing campaign in London. The company set up shop near Canary Wharf Station, where more than 350,000 people pass through every day.

During this marketing campaign, more than 13,000 branded cups were given out by 20 independent coffee shops within London. In addition, chocolate coins imitating the trade.io’s native cryptocurrency, TIO, were distributed through various venues as well. The coffee cups and chocolate coins also gave recipients the opportunity to register in the company’s airdrop campaigns, which will foster adoption of the token, and promote the exchange as well.

Additionally, a surprise flash mob of dancers was present at the station. They were all dressed as astronauts, perhaps an ode to the “going to the moon” that is a common theme for cryptocurrency users looking to strike it rich.

The global press was covering both events, allowing users to watch interviews from any place in the world, as well as the live stream of the dancing flash mob.

With the exchange launch just around the corner, trade.io will continue working on their roadmap, including developing and enhancing their Liquidity pool. FX integration within the exchange as well as other financial products are also on the horizon, allowing users to exchange cryptocurrency and more traditional financial instruments.
