Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo and crypto exchange Binance have announced the release of a non-fungible tokens (NFTs) collection. Called the CR7 ForeverZone, the NFT collection is the third time Cristiano Ronaldo and Binance have collaborated to offer the player’s fans “unprecedented experiences” in the Web3 world.

According to the press release, the CR7 ForeverZone features as many as 50,000 limited-edition NFTs known as CR7 ForeverZone Boxes, each of which is devoted to Ronaldo’s illustrious football career. In addition, the collection includes 50 autographed footballs, 50 shirts signed by Ronaldo, and 50 tickets to the upcoming Binance Blockchain Week. Notably, special NFTs reflect previous collaborations with Cristiano Ronaldo. Each set features a golden ticket NFT, offering fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train personally with Ronaldo.
Cristiano Ronaldo stated:
“I’ve always felt the incredible energy and support from my fans, and I wanted to engage and share with them in a way that brings us even closer together. With Binance, we are able to build this accessible connection and bring unique opportunities through our partnership, and I get to share a piece of my legacy with them.”
As Chief Marketing Officer of Binance Rachel Conlan stated, the collaboration is not simply a partnership. Instead, it is “a fusion of vision to redefine the fan experience using the cutting-edge realms of Web3 tech.”

Cristiano Ronaldo and Binance’s Partnership History
The CR7 ForeverZone NFT collection is not the first time Cristiano Ronaldo and Binance have joined efforts to enhance football fans’ experience.
Last summer, Cristiano Ronaldo and Binance announced a multi-year partnership aimed at leveraging Ronaldo’s popularity to introduce Web3 to a new audience base. In November 2022, the first NFT collection within the deal was launched. The CR7 NFT collection featured seven animated statues with four rarity levels: Normal(N), Rare (R), Super Rare (SR), and Super Super Rare (SSR). Each of the animated statues portrayed iconic moments in Ronaldo’s life and career.
Further, in July this year, a second collection was launched. Called “Forever CR7: The GOAT”, it was represented by 20 different designs, each featuring a significant goal from Ronaldo’s career. The NFTs came in four tiers of rarity similar to the first collection.
Ronaldo and Binance’s partnership is one of many deals that focus on sports NFTs. The latter have become extremely popular since they offer a unique way for collectors to engage with their favorite athletes, soccer and basketball players, and teams. Besides, sports NFTs are growing in value as the market continues to expand, which makes them a potentially wise investment for the future.
