Marvel first announced its line of NFTs at the end of June. Spider-Man will be the first NFT set the company is launching in partnership with VeVe. Later, more collectibles will come.
The US entertainment giant Marvel Entertainment, LLC is joining the frenzy around non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The company will launch its own NFTs that will feature Spider-Man. Starting from this Saturday, fans can purchase and interact with five digital Spider-Man statues.
To launch its own NFTs, Marvel has partnered with New Zealand’s Orbis Blockchain Technologies. NFTs will roll out through the company’s VeVe Digital Collectibles app. Notably, the digital collectibles will range in price from $40 to $400. Besides, they will include five different variations on the superhero. They will include the following:
- Common Spider-Man – The Amazing Spider-Man, priced at $40.00, the quantity is 32,000.
- Uncommon Spider-Man – Hangin’ Out, priced at $50.00, the quantity is 16,000.
- Rare Spider-Man – Jump Into Action, priced at $100.00, the quantity is 9,000.
- Ultra-Rare Spider-Man – Animated, priced at $250.00, the quantity is 2,500.
- Secret-Rare Spider-Man – Ultimate Animated, priced at $400.00, the quantity is 1,000.

All these NFTs will run on Immutable X, a second-layer network for the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain.
More Marvel NFTs to Come

Within the partnership, Marvel and VeVe are aiming to build a whole experience for fans around the digital collectibles. Fans will be able to showcase their collections in virtual showrooms as well as share photos and videos with the fan community through various features in the app.
Other Marvel digital products that will arrive this August include Marvel Comics #1 , the first Marvel comic book released in 1939, and Marvel Mightys, a new exclusive line of Super-D figures making their debut on the VeVe app.
