Crypto Billionaire Jihan Wu Sets Up $250 Fund to Purchase Assets from Struggling Bitcoin Miners
According to the report, Bitdeer Technologies, owned by Wu, will contribute $50 million to the $250 million fund.

Jihan Wu is a Chinese cryptocurrency entrepreneur. Together with Micree Zhan, he co-founded Bitmain in 2013, which has become the world’s largest computer chip company for bitcoin mining, with US$2.5 billion in revenue in 2017. He is a major supporter of Bitcoin Cash, a hard fork of bitcoin created in 2017 with increased transaction capacity.

Jihan Wu has seen the good and bad times in the digital currency industry and he believes even if 95% of projects fail, the remaining 5% will be worth so much to cover all forms of losses whatsoever.
The crypto billionaire suggested that engagement between regulators, governments, and companies are necessary and would result in a positive outlook for the crypto space in years to come.
Only four entrepreneurs who made their fortunes in crypto were included in the list of 2,095 billionaires revealed by Forbes this year. The richest man in crypto is Bitmain co-founder Micree Zhan, who appears at No. 690 on the list with a net worth of $3.3 billion.
