The courses will cover a wide range of topics, from the basics of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, among other cryptocurrencies, to advanced applications of blockchain technology in various industries such as finance, supply chain, and healthcare.

In a strategic move to enhance education in blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, Binance Academy, the crypto learning hub of Binance, has announced a collaboration with esteemed European educational institutions. This partnership aims to launch a series of accredited university courses that will explore crucial topics within the realm of Web3, blockchain technology, and digital assets, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of these cutting-edge technologies.

According to the statement received by Coinspeaker, the universities collaborating with Binance Academy are the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE), the European Business Institute (EBI) in Luxembourg, and ESCP Business School which has various locations across Europe.

The courses will cover a wide range of topics, from the basics of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, among other cryptocurrencies, to advanced applications of blockchain technology in various industries such as finance, supply chain, and healthcare. Additionally, they will feature a co-branded certificate between the participating universities and Binance Academy, aiming to open up new job opportunities for students.

Affordable Learning and Promotional Pricing

The courses will have a cost of 10 USDT.  However, they will be launched at a promotional price of 4 USDT, with the aim of attracting more students to this expanding industry.

Yi He, co-founder of Binance, expressed his excitement for the new courses, stating that education on Web3 and cryptocurrencies will play a fundamental role in the adoption of the crypto ecosystem and the new careers needed in the future.

“We’re thrilled to join hands with prestigious European universities in delivering university-accredited Web3 courses. Education plays a pivotal role in advancing adoption and fostering opportunities as these technologies redefine our future and global economic landscape. Our commitment to accessibility aligns with our user-centric principles, driving financial inclusivity and sustainable innovation as we champion growth within the broader ecosystem,” Yi He affirmed.

Binance Founder Aims to Improve Online Education

As reported by Coinspeaker, Binance founder, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), announced last month the launch of Giggle Academy, an ambitious platform for free and non-profit online education.

According to Zhao, the new platform will be “the most impactful” thing he will do in the coming years, providing free global education from first grade to the final year of high school using gamification techniques and blockchain technology, making education more appealing for both children and teenagers.

On the other hand, Binance’s current CEO, Richard Teng, stated on April 9 that Binance is considering possible crypto-friendly locations to establish its global headquarters, ending its previous stance as a “decentralized” company that didn’t need an official headquarters.

Does Binance have plans to build a physical university and continue promoting its vision of crypto education globally? Well, considering the billions handled by the crypto industry giant, if it sets its mind to it, it could easily compete against well-established universities.
