One of the Chinese biggest mobile phone producers Xiaomi Corp (HKG: 1810) has introduced a new line of its long-awaited Mi 11 smartphones: Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11 Lite 5G, Mi 11 Ultra, and Mi 11 Pro. With new models, Xiaomi intends to provide a keen competition to mobile giants Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Samsung Electronics, and Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL).

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun stated:

“Early last year, we started to move into the high range market. I think we have found a foothold in the high-range market.”

Notably, Xiaomi already has a significant advantage over Huawei. The latter is considered to pose a national security threat to the US. Therefore, it was added to the US blacklist known as Entity Lisk back in 2019. As a result, American chip-making companies restricted their sales to Huawei. To sign a deal with the company, they have to obtain a license first.

Getting back to Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphones, let us see what are their specs and advantages over rival models.
