Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has announced the launch of its “Bitget COO Apprentice” program designed to nurture the future leaders of the Web3 space.

According to an official press release dated April 8, the program is part of the company’s broader Blockchain4Youth campaign, which was launched to provide young talent in Europe with a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and deep insights into the dynamic world of the crypto industry.

Bitget Rolls Out Apprentice Program for Web3 Users

The Blockchain4Youth initiative was unveiled in August 2023, and it was designed to last five years with $10 million in funding. The move is part of the exchange’s commitment to driving Web3 adoption and inspiring individuals to embrace crypto as well as blockchain technology.

The initiative has now introduced its first program, which is the apprentice program. According to the press release, participants in the apprentice program will be guided under the mentorship of Bitget’s chief operating officer, Vugar Usi Zade, and other senior executives at the firm.

The program will also provide participants with a platform to acquire profound knowledge and skills needed to contribute significantly to the evolution of the Web3 world.

Additionally, the Bitget COO Apprentice is designed to give participants firsthand experience working in a global, remote corporate setting, providing a valuable perspective on the industry’s dynamics.

A Fully Funded Trip to Dubai

Bitget said the program is open to ambitious individuals passionate about Web3. The exchange also disclosed that the top three candidates selected for the program will receive an exclusive, fully-funded mentorship trip to Dubai with Bitget’s COO.

The Dubai trip will provide the candidates with unparalleled access to industry insights and networking opportunities.

“This program offers young graduates the chance to learn from industry experts, gain practical experience, and prepare them to have meaningful impacts on the crypto industry. We believe this program represents more than just an apprentice experience; it is also a launchpad for aspiring Web3 enthusiasts and believers to make their mark on the digital finance revolution,” said Zade.

Meanwhile, Bitget has been in the business of providing digital asset services since 2018. The company, which prides itself on being the “world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company”, currently boasts 25 million users from 100 countries around the world.

The Seychelles-based firm said it is committed to providing innovative financial products and helping users trade smarter with its pioneering copy trading feature and other digital assets trading solutions.

The exchange even has its own self-custody wallet that allows traders to manage their assets without the intrusion of the firm.
