This year CoinSummit will take place on 25-26th March 2014 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

San Francisco’s CoinSummit is coming soon, there is less than ten days left to the best event on digital currencies in North America, and perhaps globally. During these two days virtual currency entrepreneurs, angel and VC investors, hedge fund professionals will be able to collaborate and share own experience with each other, to learn and network in the virtual currency industry.

This year CoinSummit will take place on 25-26th March 2014 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

The main goal of the summit is to improve quality and innovations on the market of digital currencies. And despite of the fact that this year speakers are really respected and interesting, the most exciting part is The Startup Showcase, where 10 hand-picked startups will be presented in front of the entire CoinSummit audience. It is a great chance for entrepreneurs to promote their startups.

What concerns speakers, CoinSummit is proud to have Marc Andreessen of Andreessen-Horowitz as the keynote speaker. Marc Andreessen is an innovator and creator, one of the few pioneers in a software category used by more than a billion people and one of the few to establish multiple billion-dollar companies. His portfolio includes participation in such projects as Airbnb, Actifio, Box, Fab.com, Facebook, Foursquare, GitHub, Jawbone, Lytro, Pinterest, Silver Tail Systems and Twitter.

Chamath Palihapitiya is going to be a speaker as well, he is famous for being one of the largest individual bitcoin investors and being  the Founder and Managing Partner of The Social+Capital Partnership (Social Capital) – a venture capital fund based in Palo Alto. Palihapitiya is one of the most credible investors, who advocates for bitcoin in recent time.

It also was announced that Jackson Palmer, the co-founder of Dogecoin, will show up with his first public speaking appearance at the conference, which is pretty exciting.

Among speakers there is lots of personalities worth listening, including Chris Larsen, Nejc Kodric, Ben Davenport, Vitalik Buterin, Patrick Murck, Ribbit Capital’s Micky Malka and Nick Shalek, Naval Ravikant, Roger Ver, Nicolas Cary, Jeremy Liew and several other representatives if the investment community and  heavy hitters from Silicon Valley.

More detailed information on the line-up and the program you can find on the official website of CoinSummit.
